Dan Jurgens is a legendary comic-book writer and artist whose career has helped shape some of the most recognizable characters and stories in modern comics.
Best known for his work on Superman, including creating the villain Doomsday and writing and illustrating key chapters of The Death of Superman, Dan is also the creator of Booster Gold and has worked across some of the biggest characters in the DC Comics universe. For Mike, he was also someone whose work had mattered since childhood.
All illustrations in this case study were created by Dan Jurgens.

There wasn’t a brief. There wasn’t an RFP. Dan didn’t even know Cyberdogz existed.
Mike was simply a fan who found an email address, took a swing and asked if he could help.
After a little understandable skepticism, that conversation became an offer with no strings attached: let Cyberdogz rebuild Dan’s website and give his work a digital home that better reflected his place in the comic-book industry.
We built DanJurgens.com, strengthened the presentation around his personal brand and started a relationship that has continued for years.
Sometimes the strategy is simple: be nice, help somebody out and don’t ask what’s in it for you.
