The Northarvest Bean Growers Association represents dry bean growers across North Dakota and Minnesota, supporting the industry through promotion, education, research and advocacy.
It’s an organization rooted in agriculture but responsible for communicating with a much broader audience, from growers and industry partners to consumers looking for information, recipes and reasons to put more beans on the table. That makes the brand and its digital presence important tools for both representing its members and expanding the reach of the industry.

Northarvest had an established website and brand that had been in place for years. For a board-driven organization, the first challenge wasn’t redesigning anything, it was demonstrating why change was worth considering in the first place.
We took our time. We brought data, relevant agriculture and nonprofit experience, examples of what was possible and a stronger vision for where the organization could go.
Once we earned the opportunity, the creative did the rest. The project expanded from brand work into a complete website and eventually an ongoing annual relationship.
Sometimes you don’t sell the change. You show people what’s possible and let them get excited about it.
